We have to admit that Diptyque is having a serious moment. Despite their hefty price tags, these luxe candles continue to sell like hot cakes all over the world. And this winter season, Diptqye is making your home smell like a log cabin the woods--complete with the wood burning fire, eggnog, and Christmas tree. Luckily, the Store Manager, Isabel Mayfield, gave us the low-down on their best-selling scents and her home decor tips for the colder months.
According to Isabel, Feu du Bois is not surprisingly the best-selling scent in SoCal. A woodsy neutral, Feu du Bois is the perfect choice for bringing some wintery-goodness to LA, and Isabel recommends pairing it with a floral scent-- such as Rose, Violet, or Mimosa-- to temper its woody notes. She suggests trying the large, ceramic candle (which works indoors or outdoors) to elevate your holiday decor game. The winter line, featuring special scents like Résine (pine), Épice (cinnamon), and Hiver (wood fire and chestnuts), is also wonderful, and recreates those cozy, snowy holidays for us seasonally challenged folk.
