After the amazing meal at Redd and all the wine tasting, we just wanted something low-key and casual for our last night in Napa. So we went to a favorite joint of The French Laundry's Thomas Keller, Oenotri. Serving southern-Italian cuisine with rustic dishes and fresh ingredients, Oenotri is a great spot for a casual, yet delicious meal.
We ordered a mixed lettuces salad with meyer lemon vinaigrette and parmiagano-reggiano, which was a light and bright salad. Though it was a simple dish, everything tasted fresh and it was a nice way to start out the meal.
Of course, we had to order a margherita pizza. Another simple but well-executed dish with fresh ingredients. A classic and delicious margherita pizza.
For pasta, we ordered a classic Cacio E Pepe dish with parmiagano-reggiano. A great dish for our massive hangovers, it was filling and delicious, but still simple and fresh.
Overall, the meal was great. Good, simple food that's perfect for a casual, still-hungover evening.
