Oh, the 90210. Known for mansions, excess, and plenty of shopping, Beverly Hills is undoubtedly one of LA's glitziest hubs. But although it caters to wealthy tourists, Beverly Hills actually has some heart. It's hard not to appreciate the way BH stocks some fantastic little boutiques, instead of just the same old chains (there are plenty of those, too), as well as plenty of small, upscale eateries. So when spending a day shopping on Rodeo or lunching at the new Fred's at Barney's (we also highly recommend tea at The Montage-- it's quite lovely), make sure to dress appropriately. Another reason that I appreciate Beverly Hills? People dress up! A printed pencil skirt and classic pumps are classic and sophisticated, while a little, white crop top brings those casual, LA-vibes that will set you apart from the tourists.
