Here we go again. New openings, new notables, new places to add to our perpetual to-do list. From morning to late night, we have 3 just-opened restaurants and bars that will provide your workday coffee, your Rams game dinner, and your night-out cocktails.
Now open at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills (on the patio of Culina), Vinoteca is staking a claim for Beverly Hills' go-to spot for your morning pumpkin spice latte and freshly baked pastries. And then at night, Vinoteca transforms itself into a glamorous Italian wine bar with a menu of small plates by Chef Denis Dello Stritto. Expect crudos, pastas, and the premier stop for Montanara (street food-style Italian fried pizza).
Brack Shop Tavern
Part sports bar, part cocktail bar, this upscale-yet-approachable restaurant just opened in the former Barrel Down space. Showcasing bright cocktails, beers, and refined comfort food, Brack Shop Tavern aims to attract the after-work crowd, locals, sports fans alike (come in to watch the Rams game on one of their many TVs). Their menu is an amalgam of favorites like patty melts with pimento, loaded baked potatoes, and fried chicken livers.
The Basement Bar / Whiskey Room @ Miro
Beneath current Downtown favorite Miro, The Basement Bar and Whiskey Room are quietly serving excellent cocktails and some of the world's most rare whiskey. The Basement Bar is a dimly lit dining room, in start contrast to Miro's large, sun-soaked eating space, with leather bar stools and plush booths that lend it an air of vintage mystery. While Miro is an excellent place for your after-work bite or Downtown power lunch, the Basement Bar provides a more cozy setting for your late night cocktails or intimate date. The Whiskey Room, however, is a small shrine for whiskey aficionados and novices alike; decked out with brick walls and leather couches, the room's collection of rare spirits is intended for the true geeks, while the helpful and knowledgeable bar managers will help guide beginners to the right choice.
