It seems like the more I discuss my Fall wardrobe, the less LA weather wants to supply me with the kind of cool, breezy temps that would actually allow me to actually wear any of these clothes. But alas, I am a dog with a bone, determined to wear booties and leather jackets and rich, deep hues. Despite the current heat wave, I've picked up a few more pieces that I've been a bit obsessed with this season, including this striped navy duster coat from Aritzia. Not only is it warm and cozy like a robe (seriously, I could easily curl up in this thing and take a nap), it's an effortless statement piece that looks great with just about everything. I love the navy and white striped design (which reminds me of a pinstriped suit), as well as the bit of structure, which both lend it some sophistication so I don't look like I'm walking around wearing pajamas. I usually keep what I'm wearing underneath fairly simple-- from a navy matching slip dress to black cropped flares, a white cami, and navy suede pointed-toe wedge booties.
