Did I tell you that I'm currently in Asia? No? Oops. I fly to Hong Kong earlier in the week, and will be spending the next week on a ship cruising to destinations such as Shanghai, Nagasaki, and Seoul. It's my first ever trip to Asia, and I'm already loving it! Though I shot these photos while still in LA, the weeks leading up to this huge voyage made me think a lot about jetsetting and fashion around the world. In my short time here so far, I've been incredibly impressed (but not surprised by) the fashion-forward street style. It seems like culottes and white sneakers are the local uniform, whereas my LA uniform back home is more jeans, knit top, booties, and some kind of jacket? This look is my travel-meets-everyday; undoubtedly it represents my daily uniform but with elements that make me feel cool and travel-ready, like a throw-on bomber jacket and hold-all bucket bag. Hopefully, I'll be doing some serious shopping on this trip, and can show you the rest of my travel-ready looks!
