You all know how much I love to mask, right? I’ve frequently discussed my love of relaxing on a Sunday night by lighting a candle, slapping on a few masks, and indulging in some self care. #treatyoself, right? And with the weather changing, my skin is in need of some extra TLC, which is why I was excited to try Olay’s new Clay Stick Masks. Not only are they formulated with kaolin clay to exfoliate and remove skin impurities, but they come in these cool little roll-on sticks. Admittedly, it took me a minute to understand why this made me life so much easier. But as I tested them, I actually discovered how nice it is to not have to squeeze some goop out of a tube or scoop it out of a pot. Instead, I can just roll the mask straight from stick to face, leaving me with clean hands to scroll Netflix and far less mess to clean up. And honestly, when I’m trying to relax, the last thing I want to do is clean my bathroom.
The masks come in 3 varieties; the Glow Boost, Pore Detox, and Fresh Reset, which I apply at the same time on different parts of my face for the best results. Along with kaolin clay, the Pore Detox uses black charcoal to draw out impurities from pores, making it ideal for your T-zone or anywhere you tend to have more breakouts. I apply the Glow Boost to my cheeks, which uses white charcoal to remove the buildup of dead skin cells and bring new healthy skin cells to the surface, perfect for bringing back that natural glow that I’m in desperate need of come Fall and Winter. Finally, I apply the Fresh Reset to my chin and jawline, as it uses a pink mineral complex to micro-polish away clogging surface cells while providing antioxidant ingredients. I tend to get irritation and cell buildup in that area, so it both exfoliates and calms, which I love. Afterwards, my skin looks fresh, and feels soft and clean! Currently, you can find Olay’s new Clay Stick Masks at Walmart for an affordable $10 each!
