If you’re like me, then planning ahead isn’t really your thing. In fact, I’m a master when it comes to procrastinating; in school, I whole-heartedly believed (and still do) that my best work was done around 11pm the night before it was due. Unfortunately, this last-minute work-ethic also applies to my gift-buying habits, which I always put off until it’s almost too late. So, while I know there are thousands and thousands of gift guides, I wanted to keep things simple, offering last-minute gift ideas for all those special people in your life that will make them think you spent weeks planning.
For The Beauty Lover :
While buying clothes and accessories can be a gamble, beauty products are often a safer bet. And with so many beautiful brands on the market, there really is something for everyone (and every budget). A few favorites include any of these lovely gift sets from Space NK, this fun shaving set from Billie (we recommend gifting this thoughtfully to select people in your life who won’t be offended by a seeming suggestion to shave more), and one of these beautiful candles from ultra-cool Otherland.
For the Fashionista :
The Fashionista is often one of the hardest people to shop for; she has very particular tastes, and truthfully you can’t afford the kind of stuff she really wants. But we have a few great options here; anything from Everlane is a great, basic, and more affordable option. A new luggage set from Away might be more of a splurge, but she will love their ultra-chic, tech-driven luggage. At the very least, you can never go wrong with a cute piece of jewelry!
For The Homebody :
We all have that friend (or maybe we are that friend) who loves to stay at home, get cozy, and just chill. For her, a chic set of PJ’s or a sexy, Rihanna-approved silk robe from Savage x Fenty might be all she needs. If you want to really splurge, a gift card for a Zeel massage will really make her feel special. And she’s bound to love this soft gray throw from Riley.
For The Health Nut :
For your friend who’s stuck at a desk all day, some chic new work-related gifts might just breathe new life into her 9-to-5 routine. I’ve already talked about how much I love my Felix Gray blue-light filtering glasses, and considering you can get them in prescription and non-prescription, her eyes (or his! The glasses are unisex!) will definitely thank you for this gift.
For The Foodie :
For that friend who loves food, has recently taken up cooking, or is always hosting people, we’re loving this high-tech French press from start-up Rite; the ceramic coffee maker has a built-in thermometer to measure the temp, while an hourglass times your brew. The best part? The removable bottom, so you can just unscrew it and easily dispose of your coffee grounds! Not a coffee drinker? Try out this upscale Olive Oil from uber-trendy new brand, Brightland— at least the bottles will look beautiful in their kitchen!
For Him :
And of course, we couldn’t forget about the men in your life. While anything from Everlane is always a great choice, you also won’t go wrong with a fresh pair of AllBirds. For those dudes that need a bit more help in the grooming department, upgrade their routine with a set from Harry’s Razor; he’ll look the super clean shave as much as he loves the clean design of the gift set!
