One of my favorite spots in LA is the Brentwood Country Mart. And it's not just because Reese Witherspoon is always photographed shopping there on the weekends. Housing Intermix, Space Nk, Farmshop, and Sweet Rose Creamery, The Brentwood Country Mart has some wonderful eateries and boutiques. It's also a ridiculously cute place to hang out; I love the quaint, rustic feel and maze-style layout. Its also a great place for some serious fashion spotting. This little white dress/romper from Zara is the perfect thing to wear. Crisp and dressed up enough for Brentwood's upscale feel, but short and casual for a low-key weekend jaunt, pair it with everyday sandals and a bucket bag for a classic-but-trendy ensemble.
Leather? For Spring? IN LA?? Yes. Though suede and leather are big trends for spring, wearing them in LA's constant heat wave seems like a recipe for heat stroke. But isn't that why mini skirts were invented? A tan leather skirt will help you rock those breezy spring trends without becoming overheated. Pair with a striped tee and wedges for an effortlessly cool spring look.
