One of the many benefits of LA's mild winters is that winter shopping is usually far less extensive and expensive. While the rest of the country scours their local malls for big, puffy coats and fur-lined boots (although I see plenty of Angelenos in similar attire when it's only 65 degrees out), we can survive the harshest months of the year with some great sweaters, blazers, and booties. So I've rounded up some great pieces to keep you warm throughout the winter while keeping your style intact. Click through to check out my picks, all under $125!Read More

In case you missed it, I just took a fantastic trip to Berlin and London. Other than seeing the sites, tasting the local cuisine, and immersing myself in the culture, I made sure to take note of the local brands that I WANT. In Berlin, I fell in love with Aigner (based in New York and Munich)-- makers of classic, beautiful bags at not-so-unreasonable prices. In London, I re-discovered Whistles, a contemporary brand that's everywhere in London, but used to be associated with an older demographic. Since taking on a new executive a few years back, the line has moved towards cleaner silhouettes and minimalist styles. I bought a great long knit top with side slits at Selfridges, and was itching (if the exchange rate wasn't still so crappy) to buy more.
Check out my Whistles wishlist above, and let us know what you think of the brand!
